The company is currently recruiting to form the team who will launch this new digital insurance company in Canada, designed to challenge how insurance is delivered in Canada. The goal is to grow to 200 employees within 5 years.

Our client is an InsurTech startup looking for dynamic people who thrive on innovation and cutting edge technology.
This startup combines a powerful web user experience with state of the art analytics. The parent company is a billion dollar insurance firm which has been very successful in launching similar projects in Europe and is poised to take the Canadian market by storm. 
They're currently building their headcount locally in Toronto and looking for self-starting focused individuals to join an agile development startup culture.
The Web Manager will report to the Chief Digital Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the websites on a daily basis. They will also work as part of a cross functional team to assist with the digital analytics, strategy, and execution of sponsored programs across the network. The ideal candidate has a strong background using Google Analytics, an understanding of SEO, and experience using content management systems.

You will:
-Monitor websites on a daily basis and coordinate any minor fixes with developers.
-Use Content Management System to update website content
-Use Google Analytics to build and run daily reports and proactively identify/address any technical or performance issues
-Use Google Analytics to provide insights and assist the Sales team with new client proposals
-Identify strategies to increase user engagement and traffic using insights from Google Analytics
-Stay up to date with the suite of tools used to run the Digital web site including Google Analytics,Google Ad Sense, and Google Webmaster Tools
-Implement SEO tactics to improve content ranking on Google
-Stay up to date on latest developments in SEO and Google search algorithm changes
-Create, schedule, monitor and run ad campaigns on an internal ad server
-Work as part of a cross-functional team to help define engagement strategies for sponsored programs
-Create measurement plans that identify KPIs and set performance goals against those KPIs
-Maintain various process documents and technical documents for the Portal Team, ensuring documentation is well organized and kept up to date for easy reference by all team members.
-Support Digital Director with various tasks
-Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering new solutions as part of a new platform build out. Must be able to lead the creation of the web platform.

You bring:
-University Degree in Computer Science or Design.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Web Manager)
-Total command of Google Analytics
-Demonstrate Design skills
-Good knowledge of content management systems and web site structures
-Good understanding of web usability, SEO and measurement tools
-Eagerness to learn new website maintenance software
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Excellent eye for detail
-Excellent organizational skills
-HTML is a huge asset 
-Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment
-Positive, proactive, team-oriented attitude
